As a little girl, I grew up in a house where the bathroom doubled as a darkroom. My Dad was constantly developing pictures that he took of me and my younger brother. He passed on his love of photography to me, which I most notably recognized when I discovered the art of scrapbooking in high school. What better way to highlight my memories than an art form that bridges paper crafts, graphic design, and photography? As a young Air Force spouse, I joined my husband in his global travels as I embraced the nomadic lifestyle of the military. We were blessed to be able to see the world, and of course take thousands of pictures. But, just having those photos in an album didn’t allow me to really remember our first trip to Paris, tasting alligator in Louisiana, or the heat of the sun in New Mexico. Scrapbooking was my link to all those precious memories that I wanted to share with my children and grandchildren.

Now a mother of three (that's one baby and two dogs!) and a domestic engineer (a.k.a housewife), I've found that my creative pursuits serve as the perfect outlet for me.  In my "spare" time, I like to take long walks on the Redondo boardwalk, do yoga, and sit and chat over a good cup of coffee with friends. I've been married to my hubby Mike for 7 years and we have one child, Lukas, and two miniature Dachshunds named Pikake and Ikaika.

I pour a lot of heart and soul into my work and am often sad to see a project end. I know that there are many options out there, and for someone to ask me to share in the process of preserving their personal memories is an honor in and of itself. If you choose Memento, rest assured that I will approach your project with the same degree of enthusiasm and creativity that I give to my personal scrapbooks.
